A brain, a beauty, a jock, a rebel and a recluse. Five total strangers with nothing in common…except each other. Before the day was over, they broke the rules, bared their souls, and touched each other in a way they never dreamed possible. Flounder Brewery is Shermer High when Raconteur Radio presents The Breakfast Club! Live on stage! Performed forty years (and change) from the film's release by, shall we say, a rather “mature” cast, most of who are forty years (and change) older than the original characters.

STARRING:
JEFF MASCHI as John Bender, the criminal, in detention for pulling a false fire alarm.

DANIELLE ILLARIO as Claire Standish, the princess, in detention for skipping class to go shopping AND Allison Reynolds, the basket case (wasn't given detention, but came anyway because she had "nothing better to do.")

CARLYLE OWENS as Andrew "Andy" Clarke, the athlete, in detention for taping another boy's butt cheeks together AND Brian Ralph Johnson, the brain, in detention after a flare gun, which was found in his locker, went off.

MICHAEL JARMUS as vice principal Richard "Dick" Vernon AND the Voice of Raconteur Radio.

WITH: costumes, theatrical lighting, music, fog effects, extensive sound effects, and Breakfast Club trivia (prizes to the top two scores!)

PLUS themed beers! Grab a pint of Eat My Shorts or Barry Manilow's Wardrobe and go on a Bender (just kidding, please drink responsibly), because during our Detention you can drink! Take a sip of suds every time someone says Bender, burner, or wastoid.

Still have your acid washed jeans? Your off-the- shoulder sweatshirt? Your Pepto pink leg warmers? How about a pair of parachute pants with a crotch that sags to your shins? Come dressed in your favorite eighties trend! And let's break some (fashion) rules.

So, sporto, how are YOU spending your Monday night?
