Asado on the Farm!

Join us at the Barn on Sunday, August 2 from 1L00 to 5:00 for an unforgettable open-fire Asado presented by Chef Andrew Mercado owner of D’Serve Restaurant in Flemington and FED Hospitality Group.

Chef Andrew is bringing the heat, the craft, and the flavor as he cooks over live fire right here at Flounder Brewing. Think incredible food, fresh local ingredients, open flames, cold beer, and that unmistakable Barn atmosphere where everyone gathers together, hangs out, talks, watches the cooking, and becomes part of the moment.

We hosted an Asado back in February — in the snow — and it was something special. Now it is time to heat it up even more.

This summer edition will celebrate everything we love about gathering at the Barn: great food, great beer, great people, and a chef who knows how to turn open-fire cooking into something unforgettable. Chef Andrew will be using fresh local ingredients, including items sourced from farms right here on Clerico Lane, making this a true celebration of our local food community.

Expect the sights, sounds, and smells of live-fire cooking across the farm, with Chef Andrew creating a meal that is as much about the experience as it is about the food. This is the kind of event you do not just attend — you remember it.

Because this event is centered around open-fire cooking, we have set a fire date of Sunday, September 20 in the event of a dry summer fire ban or unsafe fire conditions (no refunds).
