While we strive to accommodate as many artists as possible, please understand that we have limited spots available each year. We value eclectic music that normally does not have a regular home at local bars and restaurants.
Saturdays at Flounder Brewing are alive with a vibrant mix of duos, trios, quartets, and more, spanning genres from bluegrass to jazz, Django to indie-folk, blues and beyond. We seek out talent that can effortlessly blend original compositions with inventive covers, breathing fresh life into beloved classics through innovative reinterpretations across genres. While we appreciate the artistry of cover performances, we primarily focus on showcasing artists who bring their unique creative flair to the stage, with only a few rare exceptions.
Fridays at Flounder Brewing are dedicated to our Acoustic Fridays Series, spotlighting exceptional acoustic talents. We're on the lookout for artists with a compelling original repertoire complemented by tasteful covers, adept at captivating audiences and seamlessly transitioning between songs to maintain an engaging atmosphere. While we deeply value the skill of cover performers, our venue is tailored for those who prioritize originality over an extensive repertoire of covers suited for a bar crowd. If you're seeking opportunities to showcase your acoustic cover prowess, we encourage you to explore other fantastic venues in the area. Our Friday nights are co-produced with House Without Walls, and if your style resonates with us, expect to hear from our agent for potential collaboration opportunities at the Flounder Barn and beyond.
