Barry Rich is an indie-folk singer-songwriter currently based in New Jersey, though he has lived and travelled across most of the U.S. This transitory aspect of his life colors his songwriting, which emphasizes earnest storytelling centering on love, grief, and memory. Drawing inspiration from artists like Hozier, John Darnielle, and Ben Gibbard, Rich crafts moving melodies as the backdrop for heartfelt lyrics.
